Students will be given opportunities to develop and extend academic skills and build social community, including peer support and mentoring, particularly in first year
Information literacy, academic writing, career information and time management will be embedded into all courses
Encourage project based learning activities, undertaken by a number of students, resulting in high quality outcomes

Course plan will endeavor to respond to the rich diversity of student backgrounds and pathways including; nativity, gender, culture, intercultural, first generation graduate, low socio-economic backgrounds, rural or urban, return to study and people with accessibility issues
In all subjects a variety of resources, teaching methods and approaches to learning will be considered and adopted, in recognition of the diversity of the student body
While deciding learning outcomes, assessment and accreditation demands, courses and subjects will be offered in ways that provide students with some flexibility and choice, through the use of advanced learning technologies
Teaching, learning and assessment must provide reasonable access, availability/opportunity and adjustments for students with accessibility issues
CLEARLY DEFINE THE LEARNING OUTCOME FOR EACH SUBJECT/TOPIC
Courses will be planned with comprehensive learning outcomes including those which:
are of high cognitive order
address employability and professional accreditation standards where appropriate
All teaching and learning activities, resources, assessment, and learning outcomes will be aligned so that subjects are explicitly coherent
Course plan should be mapped parallely to gain technical knowledge and life skills that students need to become a socially responsible citizen
Courses should be planned on the basis that a 3/4 credit point subject will require a 45/60 hour work load respectively of study-related participation including class attendance over the duration of the study period irrespective of mode of delivery
Time-constrained assessments, e.g. exams and oral presentations, must be appropriate to the stated outcomes of the subject, and of duration appropriate to the demands of the questions
SESSION PLANNING
The comprehensive session plan should be provided which covers the full range of methodologies needed
The session plan should be prepared for each topic which includes the minute details of preparation, teaching pedagogies, learning activities etc (for details refer to teacher’s manual)
Work book is provided for students to develop their comprehensive skills, communicative skills, aptitude skills, problem solving skills and life skills and to make students to think of higher order
